So what does a person do for dinner when they have a Sunday off and free? The first Sunday in around 6 months where they can do and or make whatever they want? The answer came to me immediately as I came across an organic free range chicken while picking up late night snack foods after service last evening. The underage drinking debate continues on as a teen at Houlton High School in Maine brought to school a bottle of Fentiman’s Victorian Lemonade, which uses a fermentation process thus producing alcohol. There’s never been a time in my life when I thought a musical television show could accomplish the goal of being good and popular. Even as I prepared to watch the sneak peak of Glee earlier this year I felt that it couldn’t be good, and if that happened then no one would watch. But there are gems to be found in all the madness, and Moody Blue is probably the best food find in recent memory. more…
I love sauces. There are those out there who think of a sauce as an afterthought, and have perfected the pan sauce not because they’re in love with all the wondrous bits of flavor but because they’re simple. I too love a quick and lovely pan sauce, but if there’s one thing that I always agonize over if it’s not perfect on the plate it’s the sauce. more…
