If you like to read words in book form then you are probably somewhat familiar with the Sedaris name. David Sedaris is a fantastic author of witty and humorous stories on life, and I’ll pick up Me Talk Pretty One Day on numerous occasions throughout the year. His far more attractive sister Amy is a renowned television personality. OK, renowned if you enjoy smart humor and Stephen Colbert. Both things you should enjoy. Amy Sedaris is also an author and is out promoting her new cooking and entertaining book I Like You.

Below you’ll find a video of Sedaris on The Today show cooking her Greek spaghetti meal for Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Sedaris is her usual self, putting on an exemplary cooking demonstration while simultaneously informing the world that your animals talk for a full minute on Christmas day. On the other end of the spectrum is the train wreck that is Kathy Lee. The woman is only good for The Soup segments.

Gifford comments at one point, “Who cares if it’s delicious she’s a lot of fun?” Probably the author of the recipe you twit. Who happens to be standing right there. Not that Amy Sedaris has anything to fear from Kathy Lee, but it just goes to prove some people have a talent for non sequitur commentary and others just have no clue.
