We are now less than a week away from the premiere of Top Chef New York, so that means we can just sit back and wait. Right? Nah, let’s watch some more videos from the upcoming season of cheftestants. Below you’ll find the videos showcasing the…ahem…talents of the new cast. This season’s first quickfire, an apple peeling and dicing competition, might be my favorite opening so far. It’s something that I’m actually good at, and understand.
The Elimination Challenge video has the cheftestants picking knives – as per usual on Top Chef — to determine what they’ll be doing. This time they picked specific areas in the NYC area. I just hope that the person who picked Jamaica has to either stand on 169th waiting for the F train while wondering if they should go try the Halal food in the shop across the street, or realize that it would smell up the bus something fierce. Here’s a hint for the contestant: it will stink the place up.
