The James Beard Foundation Awards are like the Oscars, Grammy’s, and Emmy’s all rolled into one for the food world. The Oscagremmy’s? In any case the awards recognize the great work done by pretty much every aspect of food, from restaurants to writers. This year I happened upon the list of nominees on Twitter, via the James Beard Foundation twitter page. I’ve got the entire posting of that feed below for you to see the nominees, and I was even nice enough to do some minor formatting. Though not too much, it’s late at night and I had a big burger for dinner. I am Le Tired.
The James Beard Foundation Awards 2009 will take place at the Lincoln Center in NYC on May 4th. So if you’re going to be around and want to join in the festivities you can visit JB Awards to buy your tickets. There’s currently a deal going on until April 4th for $50 off the ticket price.
