½  cup sugar
¼ cup Grand Marnier
Juice and zest of 1 orange
1 stick cinnamon
Place all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and cook over medium heat until cranberries burst.  Let cool to room temperature and remove cinnamon stick before serving.
