NBC has a new restaurant series set to premiere this Wednesday, March 11 at 8pm ET. The problem is that The Chopping Block sounds a little like another show I used to watch, and perhaps it was on BBC originally (like Hell’s Kitchen before it). I can’t say for sure because the show about couples starting and learning about opening a new restaurant is hazy in my memory. David Sedaris is a fantastic author of witty and humorous stories on life, and I’ll pick up Me Talk Pretty One Day on numerous occasions throughout the year.
